RESONANCE

Why is it so hard to say ‘thank you’? We’ve all heard about the last thought from a dying man’s death bed, that they wish they told the people they love how much they appreciated them. Being notoriously bad at verbal affection, I fear this is also my fate.

I grew up as a middle child of two boys that still to this day, fill my life with absolute chaos, as to which I am extremely grateful for. But, of course I could never actually tell them that. That I was grateful for them always supporting me and my art. That I was grateful for every time they picked me up from school in the middle of the day. That I was grateful for that one time, fifteen-odd years ago, you made me French toast when I was sick, either though you were tired, and struggling, and wanted nothing more than to lock yourself back in your room. Thank you. 🖕.
